FTTechnologies entered the market with our first production solution, partnering with Digicel to launch an innovative IVR-based airtime top-up platform in Honduras. This groundbreaking service enabled users to recharge their mobile phones online using credit or debit cards, establishing our foundation in digital payment solutions.
After two years of dedicated development, FTTechnologies successfully migrated VisaNet Guatemala's (now NeoNet) entire transaction processing to our UNITY platform. The platform launch also enabled Mastercard processing across 135,000+ terminals on day one. Today, NeoNet processes over 1.5 million daily transactions, a 328% increase from the original 350,000 daily transactions.
FTTechnologies launched the first Visa-branded Tap to Phone solution in Latin America, supported by Visa International and Banco Popular de Costa Rica. Within nine months, we integrated Mastercard capabilities. Our cloud-based Tap to Phone service now serves 25+ clients across 13 Latin American countries.
Selected by Visa to participate in the prestigious Visa Everywhere Initiative event, FTTechnologies competed alongside 50+ FinTech. We presented our Tap to Phone solution with fully digital onboarding and earned recognition as one of the Top 10 most innovative companies in Latin America, the only Central American company to achieve this distinction among competitors from major markets including Mexico and Brazil.
In partnership with Credicorp Bank of Panama, Sonda, Visa, and Mastercard, FTTechnologies deployed contactless card acceptance for the Panama Metro system in just three months, a record implementation time. All transactions are processed through our cloud-based Transit (MTT) solution, demonstrating our platform's speed and reliability.
FTTechnologies certified PIN on COTS (SPoC) service for our Cloud-based Tap to Phone Kernel. FTTechnologies card present solutions certified by Visa Acceptance Services (CyberSource), becoming the first global solution to process Tap to Phone with PIN in the cloud.
